Hi, I'm Aja Beckett. 👋

I spend most of my work time building nice things for people on the internet. I'm currently working with a great team as an iOS Engineer at a large media company.

Years ago, I co-founded Civil, a new kind of comments platform designed to limit harassment and abuse. Our (actually good) solutions for online community moderation were featured in WIRED, The Guardian, and TechCrunch.

I've also worked at TED, CNN, and Apple, and have launched a handful of iOS apps, including a new one called Shotsy.
